You will receive a like for like courtesy vehicle of the same size, standard and specification as that of your own vehicle. We usually offer a selection of vehicles within your entitlement group. This is so you may select the vehicle brand, and model, to ensure the performance or prestige courtesy vehicle matches your requirements.

Often to qualify for actual like for like prestige courtesy vehicles your vehicle will need to be within 6 years of age. This is because most insurance companies consider a vehicle prestige vehicles to be within 6 years of age, however, older prestige vehicles can still be considered prestige. For an older vehicle, your prestige courtesy vehicle entitlement may drop one group, for example, a Mercedes E class driver may expect to receive a C class in that situation.

However, vehicle groups and their entitlement to a like for like prestige or performance courtesy vehicle vary considerably. For example, classic car’s, high-performance vehicles and performance models vehicles may continue to qualify for like for like courtesy car provision for many years beyond the 6-year basic rule. All prestige courtesy cars are provided fully insured, we match our policy to that of your vehicles insurance policy. This means any driver named on our own vehicle’s insurance policy can be added to our courtesy car’s policy. Once again this is at no cost to you as the at-fault driver’s insurance company is responsible to cover the cost of your losses including courtesy vehicle provision until your vehicle claim is settled.

You are entitled to keep the prestige courtesy car after the accident from the point when your own damaged vehicle becomes unroadworthy and until your resulting non fault vehicle claim is settled.
This means your keep the prestige courtesy car from the accident date should your vehicle damage result in your vehicle not being roadworthy, and until your own damaged vehicle is either fully repaired and returned to you, or your vehicle write-off claim is settled and you have received cleared funds of the write off value.

We endeavour to provide a same day priority prestige and performance courtesy car service directly to drivers after a non fault vehicle accident. This means courtesy vehicles can be delivered to your home address or place of work. We offer deliveries between 6:30 am and 8 pm Monday to Friday. Our weekend service is from 8 am to 2 pm.

Due to the range of vehicle types and specifications even in a single vehicle’s model line, vehicle age limits do not always apply when assessing courtesy car entitlement.
